ES603-WB Sensor The Most Cost-effective Sensor for All Devices
The ES603-WB is a durable, high performance but cost effective sensor. This compact fingerprint sensor has very low power consumption, reducing BOM cost and hence contributes to the best quality-price ratio for fingerprint sensors in the market
Key Features -
Cost-effective - High performance with integrated features thus greatly reducing the BOM cost.
Easy Integration - Ultra-small package to fit into latest PC and mobile devices.
Fly-Estimation technology - Delivers complete fingerprint without image reconstruction.
Lower power consumption - Minimizes the impact on battery life.
Overview -
The most cost-effective solution
Jun 06, 2016 I have had the same issue with an Egistec ES603 that is installed from factory in a Metabox P157SM laptop. The scanner used to work from the start with Win 8.1. There is obviously an issue with Windows 10 and fingerprint scanners.
With an ultra small fingerprint sensor package (13.5mm x 3.5mm), the ES603-WB can greatly reduce the component count, hence saving total BOM (bill of materials) cost for OEM manufacturers.
Suitable for all devices
The ES603-WB can easily be integrated into any device, even the smallest and thinnest netbooks, CULV, smartphones or other portable devices. This high performance sensor is the best choice for consumer electronics equipped with fingerprint sensors.
Advanced technology
Using Egistec’s patented Fly-Estimation® technology, ES603 delivers a whole, complete image directly without utilizing any software reconstruction methods. During imaging, EgisTec’s auto-calibration technology can self calibrate each sensor’s output signal for different skin conditions like sweaty, scarred and dry skin.
In addition, based on E-Field (AC-Capacitance) imaging between the sensor electrode matrix and the living layer under the skin, EgisTec’s sensor is virtually immune from finger spoofing (fake fingers) risks.
Furthermore, this sensor can support advanced navigation functions, which allows the ES603 sensor to rotate, click and double-click like a mouse or joystick
Durability
With special hard coating of more than 4H on the sensor surface, the wear-resistant surface of the sensor is capable to withstand more than 10 million finger swipes.
